Mike McKay
Mornings with Mike McKay
Mike is BACK on the air every morning all across Eau Claire and the Chippewa Valley on 105-7 CFW! With over 28+ years in the Chippewa Valley, this has become home for Mike and his wife Lori. His kids grew up here and they still live here as well. When he's not on the air waking up the Valley, Mike spends time working around the house and yard as well as relaxing on the deck, usually more time relaxing than working! Weekends mean exploring the area and even after all these years, both he and his wife Lori still find things they've never seen before. Mike enjoys a little bit of online poker and spending quality time with his Pomeranian GiGi and kitty "Violet". Oh, and hockey is the only sport that matters in his house, "GO WILD"!

Go on vacation, come back with a cold!
Every…time! We took a little couple day getaway with our granddaughter (she’s 7) and had a great time exploring Duluth and checking out Bentleyville. Tons of fun, saw a lot of things and I brought back a cold. Something about hanging out with a little kid for a few days, who I love to pieces […]

Tough day for Chippewa Falls
Sad news about Molson Coors closing the Leinie’s Brewery in January. I feel so bad for the employees, many that have spent their lives working there. Also, for the city of Chippewa Falls. Most of our friends or family members that have come to visit have always wanted to make a visit for a tour. […]

This must stop!
Isn’t it time to stop turning the clocks back an hour? Some states have done away with it, what about us? I’ve been told if we stop it’ll throw our ‘system of time’ off and centuries from now we’ll be dark when it’s ‘day’. I’m not a scientist but I say let’s give it a […]
