Have you ever thought “my head hurts from all this thinking”? First off, you’re not alone and secondly, science says you may be right. Researchers in the Netherlands say that mental effort (thinking) is consistently linked to unpleasant feelings, challenging our assumptions about the joys of intellectual pursuits. In our world of multi-tasking it’s easy to overthink. Take your time, and take a break from thinking to let your brain relax.
