Auditions, for anyone wanting to be a part of the musical, will be held tonight (Monday) and tomorrow night (Tuesday), at 6:30, at the Richland Center City Auditorium.
RICHLAND CENTER, Wis (WRCO / WRCE) – The Community Players of Southwest Wisconsin have been busy preparing for their upcoming summer musical “Little Shop of Horrors”, which has been adapted into several films. Andrew Sharp will be the producer of the upcoming production.
Auditions, for anyone wanting to be a part of the musical, will be held tonight, May 19 and Tuesday, May 20 at 6:30 p.m. at the Richland Center City Auditorium. Participants can audition for the parts of Seymour, the nerdy flower shop assistant; Seymour’s love interest Audrey, as well as the voice of the plant Audrey II, to name a few. A puppeteer will also be needed.
Auditioners should prepare a song in the style of a late fifties or early sixties rock and roll or R&B song. Auditioners will also be asked to read parts of the script. Behind-the-scenes people are needed as well, especially anyone who can help build a set and props or can serve as stage crew or house staff.
