Cellcom to adjust customer bills following outage

GREEN BAY, Wis (WGBW) – There is some good news for Cellcom customers following that nearly 2-week voice and text outage in May. The company announced last week that it will adjust users’ invoices to compensate for the outage. 

The adjustment will automatically appear on the July bills, and no action will be required from the consumers.

Eligible customers will also be able to activate a “Double the Downtime” offer to receive a second bill adjustment. For information on the adjustments, visit the website.

The company has said a cyber incident caused the outage.

Cellcom is a part of NSight, a telecommunications and tower maintenance company based in Howard.
