Hillbilly Peanut Butter Pancake Sandwich Disaster
(No pancakes were harmed)
Ingredients (What You Can Grab Half-Asleep)
*2 slices of bread (any condition… we don’t judge)
*Peanut butter
*Syrup (maple, fake maple, or “table syrup”—all welcome)
*Butter (optional but highly encouraged for poor decisions)
*A handful of cereal OR crushed cookies OR whatever crunches
*Optional: banana if you’re pretending this is healthy
Instructions (Absolutely No Skill Required)
*Take your two slices of bread and lay them out like you’ve got a plan.
*Slather peanut butter on both sides like you’re sealing a roof leak.
*Sprinkle cereal or crushed cookies on top for that “what am I doing?” texture.
*Drizzle syrup on there like you just won a syrup lottery.
*Optional: throw a slice of butter in the middle because consequences are tomorrow’s problem.
*Smash the two slices together into one glorious mess.
*Press it down with your hand like you’re forging a contract with bad decisions.
Take a bite and immediately question your upbringing.
*Serving Suggestions
Eat standing up in the kitchen, staring into the fridge like it owes you money.
Pair with milk… or straight outta the syrup bottle if things are really off the rails.
What Happens After You Eat It
First bite: “Ohhhh that’s dangerously good…”
Second bite: syrup is now on your hands, shirt, and somehow your elbow.
Five minutes later: energy spike like you just entered a rodeo.
Ten minutes later: sudden crash… you’re considering a nap on the floor.
Morning: sticky fingers, no memory, and a deep respect for your own lack of standards.
Chef’s Note
If it didn’t drip, stick, or require a paper towel roll… you didn’t do it right.
