Where to Spend NYE in the Chippewa Valley
It’s hard to believe that 2026 is already upon us…but at least it means it’s time to celebrate! There’s tons of New Year’s Eve events happening around the Chippewa Valley, so we’ve compiled a list of events based on what kind of energy you’re bringing to 2026.
Noon Year’s Eve Party at The Library
Location: Le Phillips Library – Eau Claire
Date and Time: Dec. 31, 10:30a – noon
Cost: FREE
Ring in the new year with a kids party full of dancing, crafts, face painting, snacks and a countdown to noon. Help the whole family get in the spirit of the new year with this free event.
Noon Year’s Eve at Action City
Location: Metropolis Resort – Eau Claire
Date and Time: Dec. 31, 11a-3p
Cost: $24.50-49
Ring in 2026 early with a day full of non-stop fun! Grab a day pass and join in on the dance party, balloon animals, balloon drop, buffet and more fun for the whole family.
Countdown to 2026 at River Bend
Location: River Bend Winery and Distillery – Chippewa Falls
Date and Time: Dec. 31, 11a-5p
Cost: Attendance is free
For the folks who want to celebrate without being out past their bedtimes, River Ben is giving you an early celebrating with NYE glasses, drinks, live music by the Run Downs (1:30-4:30p) and a giveaway.
“Old Farts” New Year’s Party
Location: River Jams – Chippewa Falls
Date and Time: Dec. 31, 5:30-7:30p
Cost: Varies
For the early-to-bed crew, River Jams is helping you to celebrate and be in bed at your normal time! Join them for a champagne toast at 7:30pm and an extended happy hour until 7:30. Feel like staying out late? Join them from 8p to midnight with live music with Dave BeBeau, a midnight countdown and champagne toast!
New Years Eve Tasting with Potosi Brewing
Location: The Growler Guys – Eau Claire
Date and Time: Dec. 31, 6-8p (bar open all day until close)
Cost: Tasting is free
Join The Growler Guys for a special New Year’s tasting from Potosi, with five fresh options for you to try and 50% off of all pints from 10p-close. They’ll also have a special raffle drawing at 8pm. Check back to their Facebook event page for more details closer to the day.
New Year’s Eve Dinner at The Brewing Projekt
Location: The Brewing Projekt – Eau Claire

Enjoy an elegant New Year’s Even dinner catered by Live Great Food plus The Brewing Projekt’s full cash bar. The stacked menu will have bites like shaved beef roast, champagne poached salmon, an assortment of desserts and more. Then stick around after for live music from Anna and the Big Boys at 9:30 in the taproom and a champagne toast at midnight!
New Year’s Eve Party at Helix
Location: Helix – Altoona

Enjoy a night full of fun and freebies at Helix! They’ll start serving up free appetizers from 7-10p, will give away raffle prizes every 15 minutes from 10-11:45p and will have a free champagne toast at midnight! They’ll have a full food menu available until 11pm and their award-winning selection of cocktails, wine, champagne and beer. Reservations are strongly encouraged.
A Roaring ’20s New Year’s Eve Dinner & Dance
Location: The Lakely – Eau Claire

On New Year’s Eve, the Lakely will transform into a 1920s jazz club with a whole night of experiences for those who want a little bit of everything. Start the night with a chef-driven five-course dinner, enjoy live music from Torbey & Davis, enjoy seasonal craft cocktails, then swing into a big band dance to ring in the new year!
New Years Eve Bottomless Party at 2 Roots
Location: 2 Roots – Eau Claire

Join the 2 Roots Gallery on your NYE for a night of live music and bottomless drinks, with over 100+ wines and 100+ beers available with your ticket. They’ll be serving up charcuterie and hors d’oeuvres for you to snack on with your drinks. From 7-9p, they’ll have the Auronova Funk Band and at 9:30p-12:30a, Sue Orfield’s Balterdash will take you into 2026. Limited availability and formal attire is requested.
Dance Party at the Plus
Location: The Plus – Eau Claire

The Plus will host your New Year’s Eve dance party with dance hits and decorations all night! They’ll be spinning the tunes all night, giving you the dancefloor to jam into 2026.
