Well, there’s no doubt about it. This was a hard fought campaign for both candidates. The unfortunate side of elections is all of the negative “mudslinging” that happens between all parties. Whether or not your candidate won, I think most of us are thankful that it is over. No more negative campaign ads!
It’s certainly okay to be frustrated and upset if the candidate you voted for didn’t come out on top. During this post election time, it is important to take it easy on yourselves and others. While you may rejoice in the outcome, or perhaps be sulking, just remember that the sun will shine again tomorrow. Others may not feel the same way, but the sun will shine on them again, too. We may have varying political beliefs, but I believe that variety is indeed the spice of life. (In fact, I seem to remember talking about that in a recent blog post!) Respect each other‘s beliefs, respect each other‘s opinions, and respect each other’s space. Believe it or not, we are all in this together. As Americans. One nation.

Do you do this??
For as long as I can remember, I have been a fingernail chewer. When you think about it, it is actually really disgusting. And, somehow, I am a germ fanatic at the same time. I know they say that some people chew their fingernails because they are anxious. For me, it must be a subconscious […]

Anyone Can Do Anything.
In my last blog, I wrote about Autism Awareness Month and what it means. Today, I want to share a story that I read this morning that signifies how far people on the autism spectrum can go. A friend of mine lives in Northern Michigan and saw this post on a community Facebook forum. It […]
