I know it is summertime, and we have been dealing with some warm and humid weather conditions. I also know that the airflow in my house is subpar. Like many homes, the (cold) air conditioned air works its way to the basement, while the upstairs is much stuffier. Unfortunately, my bedroom is upstairs. I’ve actually thought about moving it downstairs in order to sleep more comfortably. But over the last few nights, I have woken up in the middle of the night, absolutely drenched in sweat. Not my entire body though, just my pillow. I know it’s absolutely disgusting, but I have heard from listeners that have said they deal with the same problem. Many times, it is a genuine health concern, even though it could be easily explained this time of year. I am almost to the point where I want to put a separate air conditioning unit in our bedroom, crank that baby down to 60° every night. I would have already done that, except we have the type of sliding windows that move sideways instead of up and down. What is a person to do in this situation?
