It’s Thanksgiving! Time to see how much we can eat, how much we can drink, how much family dynamics we can handle, how much football we can watch, and do all of it without falling asleep on the couch. I urge everyone to indulge in what makes you feel good. Whether it’s an extra serving of dessert, laughter with loved ones, or even that afternoon nap on the sofa.
This year is a special one, as it’s the first time in probably a decade that my family is getting together for Thanksgiving. Both of my parents and their significant others, my brother and his family, and my in-laws. I have a good feeling that this is going to be a great gathering. As long as nobody talks politics, and the turkey is fully thawed (and doesn’t get overcooked) everything will be perfect.
I’m thankful for a lot of things, including all of you. Thank you for allowing me (and all of us at the station) into your lives every day. We know you have a choice, and the fact that you choose us isn’t something we take lightly. Together, we are the spirit of this community. We couldn’t possibly do this without you. Also, to the great local advertisers who help us pay the bills and keep this valuable local community resource on the air, we are thankful for you as well. On behalf of all of us, Happy Thanksgiving!

Time To Wake-Up!
This winter in Wisconsin felt like it just wouldn’t let go. Every time it seemed like we might be turning a corner, another cold snap or dusting of snow showed up. It seemed to drag on longer than usual, and I’ll admit—there were a few points where I started to wonder if spring was ever […]
