They always say everything will come back in style if you give it time.
Clothing…
And music…
And even music on social media.
Yeah, like how Myspace did it back in the day.
Instagram is now letting people add a song to their profiles. This new feature allows you to select a clip of your chosen song to be heard by others visiting your page.
It appears to work better on apps than it does on a desktop but they might be working out that bug.
So if you are old enough to remember selecting your Myspace profile song and your “Top Friends” (or “fans” or “people” or whatever they called that section), you can rest assured that you’re now old enough to have something come back in style. Congrats to us, oldies but goodies!
Want to contact Laura McKenna about more nostalgic blasts from the past or anything else that’s on your mind? Email anytime, she’d love to hear from you: [email protected]
And tune in weekdays starting at 10am to St. Croix Country & WCFW!
