Barbie was the queen for awhile but it looks like the snarky foul-mouthed antics of Deadpool and Wolverine have reigned supreme. And they’re not done yet.
Deadpool & Wolverine just passed up Barbie ($636.2M) at the domestic box office to become the 12th highest grossing movie of all-time with $636.3 million.
They’re not done yet raking in the cash either. The Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman movie is now in it’s 13th week in some theaters.
FUN FACT: It took Barbie 185 days to reach the record. It took Deadpool & Wolverine only 87 days to surpass it.
MORE FUN FACTS: Deadpool & Wolverine is the highest grossing R-rated movie of all-time. Barbie, however, still holds the record for the highest grossing Warner Bros. movie of all time -and- still holds the record for the most money earned at the global box office with $1.44 billion (compared to Deadpool & Wolverine‘s $1.33 billion).
As far as this weekend’s top earner: the scary movie Smile 2 did not disappoint. It took first place with a better than expected $23 million.

In The Kitchen with Laura McKenna: The Best Black Bean Pumpkin Soup
This soup is wonderful!! So good, in fact, that I will need to make it again very soon because I’ve already almost scarfed down the entire pot.
