Wisconsin weekends should extend to 3-days from the last “weekend” of May until the first “weekend” of September. Hear me out. There’s just not enough time. This past weekend for example. Cinder City Days in Altoona, Express Ball game, Farmers Market, thrift sales, ‘working around the yard’, going to the lake, bonfire, ball games with the kids, graduation party, granddaughters dance recital and no doubt 40 other things that YOU could add to that list. Saturday and Sunday go too fast! We need a day to wedge between Saturday and Sunday, we could call it SATUNDAY. I know, you’re saying “Mike wouldn’t that make it an 8-day week instead of 7?” Well, if it gives us a 3-day weekend I’m all for it!
