Have you had this conversation or thought recently, “I miss the good old days”? It seems whenever I have that thought it’s because life is crazy and overly serious. You know, you start thinking about the past and most of the time, which is good, you go to happy memories. I think what we miss is calm. Sad to say we can’t go back but we can try to slow down, even for a few minutes, catch your breath and rest our heads. For me, it’s turn off the TV, get off social media, close the laptop and tune out the world for a bit. A little peace is better than none at all. Take some time today to enjoy, who knows, it might be one of those days to think about in a few years and remember.
