What a week, on and off the air! Heat, humidity, rain and saying goodbye to celebs. Here’s some of what we did on the show, besides the above.
- A new survey of Americans said mosquitoes are the worst part of summer. (we needed a survey to know that?)
- A speed camera in Italy handed a driver a fine for taking her Ford Focus up to 437 miles per hour. Officials said it was a computer glitch and the woman didn’t have to pay the fine.
- According to a survey by Gerber (the baby food people) one out of three 1-year old’s have a social media account. (I didn’t realize there were so many babies that had access to computers)
- We whine and complain more on Mondays than any other day of the week. (Get ready, it’s only a couple days away!)
- Passengers had to get off a train in Scotland after an unattended piece of luggage sparked a security alert. The suspicious item turned out to be a cardboard box containing smelly tennis shoes. (good thing they weren’t on a plane!)
- The U.S. is losing its lead in science and technology. (but we do lead the world in complaining on TikTok so we got that going for us)
Have a great weekend, and thanks for listening! Let’s do it again next week.

Cinco de Mayo honors, May 5, 1862, when a smaller, poorly equipped Mexican militia led by General Ignacio […]
