It’s been another great week on the show, thanks for listening! Here’s some of it.
- Tons of great music!
- More winning (get that Civic Media app so you can win too!)
- According to NYPD, public urination arrests are up over 50 percent since last year. They’re not sure why. (sounds lovely)
- A 74 year old man in Romania did a “test run” of his funeral. He invited friends and family to join his mock funeral. He even laid in his coffin and was carried to the cemetery. He said everything was great. (well, until they tried to put him in the ground, that’s where you have to draw the line)
- 64 percent of people say they don’t tell coworkers when ‘good snacks’ are on the break room table. ( I knew it!)
- A report says that American credit card debt is now a record $1.3 trillion. (I swear I need all these new tools!)
- According to a new study, the exact time of day when it’s the hardest to stay on your diet is 3:42 PM. (check the breakroom at work, your coworkers probably have some ‘good snacks’ that they didn’t tell you about!)
It’s always a great when I get to spend some time with you. Let’s do it again next week. Enjoy your weekend!

But, what is Cinco de Mayo about?
Most of us love to “celebrate” Cinco de Mayo, but what is Cinco de Mayo really about? A lot of people think it’s Mexico’s independence day, but that is actually in September, September 16th to be exact. Cinco de Mayo honors, May 5, 1862, when a smaller, poorly equipped Mexican militia led by General Ignacio […]

It’s the earliest we’ve done this!
What a weekend, the weather was great and we were outside working around the yard and we decided to put the gazebo up on our deck. It’s our annual “sign that summer is coming!”. After it was up we were thinking that this was the earliest in the season we’ve put it up, usually it’s […]
