Weekly recap (or, what we did this week!)

As we embark on a long weekend (for many) make sure on Monday/Memorial day you take some time to reflex on the men and women that went to war and gave their lives for our freedoms. And now, here’s just a bit of what we did this week.

  1. TONS of great music!
  2. Winning! (make sure you have the Civic Media app so you can text and win too!)
  3. Research shows that a spider can hear what you’re doing from over ten feet away. (This is why I use a slingshot to pick ’em off the walls. It leaves a mark but it does the job)
  4. Switzerland archeologists found a loaf of bread that’s more than 2-thousand years old. They think it was baked by Roman soldiers and they want to test it to see what it was made of. (Ummmm, it’s bread so, flour?)
  5. An asteroid, that NASA named 2026 JH2, which is about the size of four 18-wheelers stack on top of each other missed earth this week by 19,000 miles. It’ll be back around in a few years. NASA is “hoping it misses us again”. (That’s comforting!)
  6. Google unveiled its first new search bar in over 25 years. (I’ll sleep better tonight, thanks Google)

Thanks for letting me be part of your day, have a great weekend!
