Here we are, Friday! Not just Friday but the final Friday of October. Here’s some of what we did this week.
- Great music!
- Heading to New York City? You have to check out the newest tourist attraction, the RAT tour! You’ll learn all about the rodents, the trash problem, and more. The tour guide is a graduate of the New York City Trash Academy. The 90-minute tour costs about 40-bucks. However, they don’t promise you’ll see any rats.
- The secret to a long life? Dick Baughn says play tennis. He started playing tennis at 50, he’s 102 and still playing almost every day!
- We eat a lot of candy on Halloween. Kids consume approximately 7,000 calories and 3 cups of sugar on the holiday alone. As a nation we collectively eat nearly 600 million pounds of candy on Halloween.
- A survey of travelers finds four in ten travel abroad just for the food. (I agree, you haven’t lived until you try the corndogs in Paris!)
- Dictionary dot com says the 2025 word of the year is “6-7”. It’s something kids have started saying. What does it mean? No one really knows.
Thanks for listening, have a great weekend and let’s do it again next week. Don’t forget to move your clocks BACK an hour this weekend!
