It was another great week on the radio. Here’s a bit of what we did!
- Tons of great music!
- More winning!
- An ice cream shop in Texas has a new flavor, crawfish! The ice cream tastes like butter, garlic, Cajun seasoning and crawfish juice. The owner said the reviews are mixed. (That’s a hard pass!)
- Three guys, from Los Angeles, who used a bear costume to fool an insurance company, are going to jail. They pleaded no contests to fraud. One of them put on the bear suit and acted like they were tearing into luxury cars to claim the insurance money. They’ll spend 6 months in prison. (But, did they get their bear costume back?)
- Did you know there are ‘smart toilets’? They have sensors that will track your….you know…and send the info to your smartphone. There’s also camera’s that will send you pics! (Be sure this doesn’t end up in a group chat by accident)
- NASA is watching a giant asteroid about the size of a football stadium. They say it’ll get real close to Earth on Friday, the 13th of April 2029. NASA is “pretty sure” it won’t hit us. (I’m not a plan ahead guy, but if I’m still around I’m not filing my taxes that year!)
Thanks for listening, have a fantastic weekend and let’s meet up on the radio again next week!

Most of us love to “celebrate” Cinco de Mayo, but what is Cinco de Mayo really about? A lot of people think it’s Mexico’s independence day, but that is actually in September, September 16th to be exact. Cinco de Mayo honors, May 5, 1862, when a smaller, poorly equipped Mexican militia led by General Ignacio […]
