Napster. Just the thought of that word brings back memories of 1999. Illegal music downloads. It was the KING of illegal downloads back in the day. After being shutdown, it spawned an entire army of wannabe “programs” (apps only existed as the snack you ate, before you actually ate) that mimicked its style and functionality. All of them were subsequently shutdown, too. But eventually Napster said, “My bad” and cleaned up its image to become a legitimate music streaming service. One that nobody took very seriously. It went belly up and was resurrected a few times, but largely hasn’t been heard of in over 20 years.
Until now.
A metaverse brand called Infinite Reality just paid $207 MILLION for it. Yep. Not $207, but rather $207,000,000.
They must feel confident in the investment. But then again, what’s a measly $207m these days anyway!? 😳😳

Woodstock 2029?

The two concert festivals were not held in the exact same location, which, according to the documentary, might have actually been part of the reason why it went so […]

Unread E-mails
I’m going to take a guess that most of us can relate to this topic. Having unread emails in our inbox. Maybe you have multiple email accounts with a bunch of unread messages. I have a handful of different accounts for different parts of my life, and right now the number of unread messages, in […]
