June 4th is National Hug Your Cat Day.
I’ve always been a cat hugger (and a cat smoocher but I’m not sure if there is a special day for that!). Pretty much every day is Hug & Kiss Your Cat Day in the Laura McKenna household.
I feel like with everything that my kitty as been through, he deserves all the kisses and hugs that he can get. Just in case you missed hearing the story about how “we” all came to be last summer, you can read it HERE.
He’s been doing great now. Recovered and getting floofier every day. He’s the most regal looking stray cat I’ve ever met. So I better go give him some smooches and squishes right now. Especially on that fluffy belly. I hope you can do the same!
