The “The Brutalist” was a big winner last night at the Golden Globe Awards with wins in the categories of
-Best Drama
-Male Actor Drama: Adrien Brody
-Director: Brady Corbet
Another movie that I haven’t seen did pretty well, too: “Emilia Perez”
It won for:
-Best Musical or Comedy
-Female Supporting Actor: Zoe Saldana
-Original Song: “El Mal”
The top ladies from last night:
–Fernanda Torres for her role in “I’m Still Here” with a win for Best Female Drama Actor.
–Demi Moore winning Best Female Actor Musical/Comedy for the part she played in “The Substance” (which happens to be her first major acting award win of her career!)
The top dudes in movies were:
–Sebastian Stan, winning for Musical/Comedy Male Actor in “A Different Man”
–Kieran Culkin, winning Best Male Supporting Actor: “A Real Pain”
The Best Animated Movie:
–“Flow”
And last but not least, “Wicked” took home the win for Best Cinematic and Box Office Achievement.
