If you’ve been in the cold & flu medication aisle recently, you know you’re not the only one with the sniffles! If you just purchased medication within the past few days, you’re likely ok. But if you’ve had a package in your purse, office drawer, or medicine cabinet for a few months, take a closer look.
Costco is recalling some of its cold and flu medications for “potential foreign material contamination”. Kirkland Signature Severe Cold and Flu Plus Congestion caplets are the medication included in this latest recall. Costco says the medicine was sold at Costco stores in Midwest and Southern states between October 30th and November 30th.
The packages bear the item number 1729556. According to LNK International’s notice, recalled units are marked with the lot code of P140082 along the side of the medicine boxes.

There’s nothing better than fresh strawberries in the summertime. However, if you slice the leaf off the top or dig in there with your fingernail, you run the risk of irritating your skin and wasting a lot of the berry. I like to pop ’em instead. You can use a regular straw but I like […]
