Just like my Ugly Corn Dip recipe, this could easily be called: Ugly Bean Dip. Don’t be alarmed by the dip’s less than appealing looks because you’ll love the taste (and how easy it is to prepare)!
Mix all ingredients in a small crock pot and melt down to a creamy consistency. Serve with tortilla chips.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
-1 block of cream cheese (regular, not low fat)
-1/2 can black beans, rinsed & drained
-1/2 can pinto beans, rinsed & drained
-1/2 can kidney beans, rinsed & drained
-1 can of diced tomatoes* (SEE BELOW FOR SPICE GUIDE)
-1 packet of taco seasoning
SPICE GUIDE:
If you like things a little spicy: Use a can of Rotel tomatoes (juice and all).
If you like things very mild but flavorful: Use a can of flavored diced tomatoes (like Diced Basil Garlic & Oregano tomatoes), juice and all.
This recipe is vegetarian and delicious!
