We haven’t had an In Memoriam segment during our Movie Mondays before, but if anyone deserves it, it’s Morris.
You will remember this gator from films like Happy Gilmore, Eraser, Dr. Doolittle 2, and even Interview with the Vampire. In fact, he’s been in over 30 Hollywood films.
Morris was a little too aggressive on set and had to be retired to a reptile farm sanctuary in Southern Colorado in 2006. But at nearly an estimated 80-years-old, I would be a little grumpy, too.
Adam Sandler paid tribute to his famous co-star on social media. You can see that humorous post and the Happy Gilmore iconic gator scene here…
Rest in peace, Morris.
