Sometimes when you watch a movie and you really like it (as I did with The Accountant), you are so excited to hear about a sequel. But then the sequel comes out and it leaves you with that “maybe you should have just stopped while you were ahead” feeling….
This could not be further from the truth with The Accountant 2.
I LOVED THIS MOVIE SO MUCH!
In fact, the world NEEDS The Accountant 3. Someone please tell me another sequel is in the works. The brother duo of Christian Wolff (played by Ben Affleck) and Braxton (played by Jon Bernthal) may go down as one of my favorite on-screen duos of all time. I love them together.
Without giving anything away, my two favorite scenes in The Accountant 2 to watch for (and you’ll know exactly the scenes I’m referring to if you’ve seen it because I bet you loved them, too):
1. The Line Dancing Scene
2. Braxton’s Pet Adoption
It’s just gold.
At the time of me writing this, both The Accountant and The Accountant 2 are streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Go back and rewatch the first one and go right into the second for a double feature. You won’t regret it.
Want to chat with Laura McKenna about your favorite onscreen duo? How about a great movie you’ve recently seen?

Movie Monday: Claustrophobic Movies
I never realized this about myself but I must have the opposite of claustrophobia, at least when it comes to movies. I really love movies that take place in confined spaces with high anxiety situations. My husband pointed that out to me one day when we watched a trailer for a movie called Restless. We […]

The Little Bee update
I woke up this morning to this message from my husband. While I was zonked out sleeping, he was trying to save a bee. This right here is how I know I married the right guy… Alex said when he found the bee, it was on his deck on its back. He thought it was […]

Movie Monday: A little something for everyone
I’ve got a little something for everyone today! Let’s start with something for all the sappy Christmas movie fans. These are probably my least favorite of the movie genres but I know people love them! “The busy, big city boss-babe comes back to her small hometown and meets the baker/the plumber/the inn keeper/the mechanic…and by […]
