It was a great week on the radio. Here’s some of the highlights:
- All kinds of great music!
- Someone in India was robbing businesses of their toilet paper. A dozen or so small businesses were broken into after hours and robbed of their toilet tissue. (not saying it’s right, but have you seen the price of t.p.?)
- A Minnesota woman who was arrested for auto theft. She denied it, but later during a search of her home, police found a personal journal belonging to her which included an entry where she wrote, “Totally stole a car today! Something I never thought of doing. Super freaking out about it.”. Her sentencing is scheduled for July 2
- Scientists created the hottest temperature ever in the lab, 4 trillion degrees Celsius. (I’m pretty sure that’s the internal temp of a microwaved Hot Pocket!)
- Americans spend an average of 18 full days in their car every year.
- Millions of dollars are expected to be wagered on the selection of a new POPE, but only through foreign gambling sites, because betting on the pope is strictly illegal in the United States.
- The Oscars announced a new rule this week that Academy voters must watch all the nominated movies before casting their votes. (so, in the past they didn’t have to actually watch the movies? Remember that the next time a celebrity tells you who you should being voting for)
As always, thanks for listening! Let’s do it again next week.

Most of us love to “celebrate” Cinco de Mayo, but what is Cinco de Mayo really about? A lot of people think it’s Mexico’s independence day, but that is actually in September, September 16th to be exact. Cinco de Mayo honors, May 5, 1862, when a smaller, poorly equipped Mexican militia led by General Ignacio […]
