I just saw a recent survey that said 62-percent of American workers didn’t use all their vacation days in 2024. Some of the reasons: no place to go, worried about their job and some said they’d rather work then just sit around the house. I’ve always been under the impression that vacation days or “PTO” is part of your salary. If they roll over to the next year that’s one thing, but if you work for a place that is “use ’em or lose ’em” then I say take the time for yourself. You gotta recharge your batteries. So, today, check how many you have left for the year and start using them. (You’ll thank me later).
