How’s that workin’ out for you?

It happens to all of us, right? You order your food, you get your food, you take that first bite and out of nowhere someone from the waitstaff checks in with you. “How’s everything?” I don’t know about you but it’s hard to respond with a mouthful of food. I get it, they want to make sure it’s what we ordered and it meets our expectations but maybe a couple bites in would work better. By the way, my typical response is a thumbs-up because, you know, I have a mouth full of food.
